Dr. Seth Watterson is a chiropractic physician with specialties in neuromusculoskeletal health and physical/functional body training and rehabilitation. Dr. Watterson is a Board certified Chiropractor with a background in health and fitness training through the American College of Sports Medicine, a Bachelors of Science degree in the studies of exercise science, biology and chemistry from Pacific University, and a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Western States Chiropractic College.
Dr. Watterson also has extensive experience in biomechanics, biochemistry, personal and sport specific fitness training, and muscle physiology; as well as a background in sports medicine and injury prevention to add to this team-approach of practitioners offered by Bloom Natural Healthcare.
Dr. Watterson takes his patients through all stages of healing – starting with chiropractic care progressing towards functional movements all the way through active rehabilitation. Fracturing his Lumbar spine as a student athlete at the age of 16 sparked an interest to study the spine. Through rehabilitative therapies Seth was able to continue playing baseball while also following a passion for board sports: traveling across Oregon and Washington on a semi-professional competitive Wakeboarding circuit by the age of 18.
Dr. Watterson’s goal is to treat each patient’s physical needs while providing relief from stresses endured on and by the body. He utilizes the mind-body strength created from body healing to motivate each patient in reaching his/her optimum potential and achieving personal goals by providing a holistic and individualized plan. Dr. Watterson has become an advocate of life-in-motion, and understands movement to be an important component to overall health.
