Dr. Kathryn Ross is a board certified chiropractor, specializing in neuromusculoskeletal diagnosis, recovery, and rehabilitation. Her goal is to use thorough physical examination procedures and biomechanical evaluation to determine the root cause of pain, prevent injuries, decrease time of recovery, and enhance sports performance in all types of athletes — from the highly competitive to weekend warriors, with expert knowledge in gymnastics, cheerleading, and dance related injuries.
After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, Kathryn attended the University of Western States in Portland, OR, where she graduated Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Kathryn is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, the Oregon Chiropractic Association and the Women’s Sports Foundation. She is also a certified USA Gymnastics professional instructor.
Kathryn is the head coach and team director at a local competitive gymnastics club, and recognizes the importance of chiropractic care in both prevention and rehabilitation of sports injuries. As a competitive gymnast for 10+ years, a former gymnastics judge and a current coach, Kathryn is able to use her knowledge of biomechanics, fitness and stretching gained from gymnastics into her chiropractic practice. In addition, Kathryn has taken the Gyrotonic level 1 foundation courses and has found great success incorporating the Gyrotonic exercise system into the rehabilitation of many spinal and extremity conditions. Kathryn enjoys treating and educating patients to take an active role in their health in order to achieve a more vital, pain free lifestyle.
